Brian Hamilton of the Chicago Tribune reports that Notre Dame junior tight end Kyle Rudolph will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury. Mike Ragone will likely replace Rudolph, a potential first-round draft pick who already had 28 catches and three touchdowns this fall. Rudolph missed several games in 2009 with a separated shoulder and had offseason surgery. Highly recruited freshman Alex Welch will not figure into the mix, according to coach Irish coach Brian Kelly.
