As we reported yesterday, Indiana has scheduled a 4pm eastern press conference for a “major announcement regarding the future of the football program.”

No name is mentioned, but sources confirmed to NCAA Rumor Mill yesterday that Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson will be the new coach at Indiana.

Sources tell NCAARumorMill that Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson will be introduced as Indiana’s head coach by athletic director Fred Glass during a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Wilson has been OU’s offensive coordinator since 2006, and has been with the Sooners since 2002. Wilson won the Broyles Award as the nation’s top assistant in 2008 when OU scored an NCAA record 716 points with Sam Bradford at quarterback.

Doogie Wolfson of @1500ESPN in Minneapolis has compiled a list of 30 potential replacements for Minnesota coach Tim Brewster if/when he is relieved of his duties. Many of them seem to make no sense at all, but nonetheless, it seems obvious that Minnesota will make a move sometime between today and Nov. 27, so here we go:
