David Scott of the Charlotte Observer reports that Charlotte will introduce Brad Lambert as it’s first football coach on Tuesday.
Lambert has been at Wake Forest since 2001 and the defensive coordinator since 2008. He was on the staff thy won the ACC title in 2006 and the position coach of future NFL players Aaron Curry and Stanley Arnoux.
The 49ers begin play in 2013 at the FCS level, but Lambert, along with two assistant coaches, can begin recruiting immediately.
